DECEMBER INSHORE  REPORT

Cooler air and water temperatures are finally here!  Decembers weather is a welcome relief.  Redfish, trout and snook will be plentiful along the mangrove shorelines. Fishing with live shrimp along the channel edges, docks and deeper drop offs will produce Sheepshead, snappers, groupers and black drum. We will also catch pompano, bluefish and spanish on the deeper flats near the inlets.  Artificial lures such as the DOA shrimp and CALs and Docs goofy jigs will produce good numbers of strikes fished in these areas.  Pompano bluefish and spanish will available in and around the inlet usually around Thanksgiving and lasting through april.
All gear and license are included and all ages and skill levels are welcome.
